Quick update: as you might have noticed, I’ve added two widgets to the sidebar with my Xbox Live ID and my PSN ID.

Feel free to friend me, maybe we can rock some game together, or maybe not, who knows .

Come to think of it, I haven’t played a good multiplayer game in quite some time.

Co-op in Gears of War was kinda awesome.

Added the nice wp-polls plugin to my wordpress instalation so I can do some…well…polling.

Check out the lower right corner . I will post an actual poll in the coming days. It would also be a nice way to check if people actually visit this place .

I took a little time today to donate a small amount to Wikipedia. I don’t have to tell you what Wikipedia is and what it has done for us .

It came to my attention that “Things That Matter” didn’t really make sense in the current context – the posts I have so far – so I’ve changed the name of the blog to something more generic.

“Nosce te ipsum” is one of my favorite Latin phrases. It means, should there be anyone who doesn’t know it, “know thyself” and was inscribed at the entrance of the Delphi temple in ancient Greece – the temple of Apollo where your future could be seen, dreamed, spoken etcetera. When I was younger, Latin phrases were a hobby of mine.

Quick update.

I will be collecting content from my other blogs and publishing what I feel it is still relevant here. The plan is to use only this blog and delete or close my other ones. Posts will appear with old dates and go to the back of the archive. I might update their timestamps if needed.

I’ve finally set up the blog on my own domain (cristiansandu.ro) but have neglected to start actually posting . So it’s time to get going. I’ve updated the site title to be more meaningful (I hope!) and I am ready to go. I will try to keep this blog updated with information about my projects, passions and interests… things that matter. Things that matter to me and, hopefully, to anyone who stops by.
